What is the Face of CVA?
Every animal has a story worth celebrating. Only one will become the first Face of CVA.
The Face of CVA Lottery is your chance to celebrate an animal you love while supporting CT Votes for Animals' work to create a better future for animals across Connecticut.
From August 1st through September 15th, every dollar donated earns lottery tickets. One lucky winner will be chosen on September 16th and will have the honor of choosing the inaugural Face of CVA!
The winning animal will be featured front and center on CVA's website, newsletters, policy briefs, and more , through the end of 2026, serving as an ambassador for animals across the state. As an added bonus, the animal's guardian will receive a custom Face of CVA t-shirt featuring their animal's photo!

How It Works
1. Throw Your Paw in the Ring
Make a donation between August 1 and September 15, 2026.
Every dollar you donate earns you lottery tickets!
2. Gather Your Tickets
The more you donate, the more chances you have to win!
$1 = 1 ticket
$25 = 25 tickets
$50 = 50 tickets
$100 = 100 tickets
3. Call on the Pack
Ask friends, family, coworkers, and fellow animal lovers to donate as well to join in on the fun.
4. The Big Draw
On September 16, 2026, one winning ticket will be randomly selected.
5. Crown the Champion
The winner chooses the animal that will become the inaugural Face of CVA!
6. The Big Reveal
On October 1, 2026, the inaugural Face of CVA will be revealed!
